A two day ICT Workshop  was conducted at Autism Sisu Kshema Kendram, Trissur on 28th and 29th of October, 2019.  About 15 Special Education Trainers from the Institute  Of Autism Sisu Kshema Kendram participated in the workshop. With technology becoming more important and useful every day, a variety of education software aimed at children with autism is now available. Many general educational software titles can also be tailored for autistic children. Such softwares were introduced  to Trainers on this two day event.

IEEE THM’19 conducted Malayalam Computing Workshop using NLP on October 12th 2019, at TKM College of Engineering, Kollam.The workshop was handled by resource person from SPACE, Mr.Sachin Gracious. It focussed on providing a basic introduction to NLP,and Malayalam computing. About 20 members from different engineering colleges who are the IEEE members attended the workshop.

As a part of ‘Freedom15’, SPACE is providing an Internship programme as our February event. Even though we had provided internship programmes to engineering students and graduates in the past, it is for the first time SPACE coming with a comprehensive programme and announcing an open call for the same. We are planning to provide internships to at least 15 candidates throughout this year on different technologies we are working on.

Swatantra Treasure Hunt after completing its first day received a warm welcome from both students and general Public. As of now, 130 plus students and 120 plus general public registered . They both on total made 5500 plus attempts for breaking the levels. Excited to see the responses in the upcoming days.

Swatantra Treasure Hunt Launched Today at 10.00 am. This Online Quiz Competition is conducted by Space in association with ICFOSS , as a promotional event for the upcoming Swatantra 2017 ( swantantra.net.in) . This game is conducted in two sections for both students and general public and has a total prize money of 1 lakh.
