SPACE made a presentation at the one day Malayalam Computing workshop jointly organised by Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University and Kerala State IT Mission on February 8 2013, at Padmam Auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram. Mr Rijoy V from SPACE spoke about the need for a concerted but interdisciplinary research initiative for making Malayalam more web compliant.
Sri. K. Jayakumar, Vice Chancellor, Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University, inaugurated the workshop. Sri. P. H Kurian, Principal Secretary(IT), Government of Kerala, Dr. Jayasankar Prasad C, Director, KSITM and Dr. Rajasree, Director, IIITKM attended the programme. A core group headed by Sri. K. Jayakumar Discussed and summarised the presentations conducted by the experts in the afternoon session.
