SPACE and Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Bangalore will host a workshop for web developers on web accessibility from 25-26 September 2009 at Christ Nagar International School, Kowdiar, Thiruvananthapuram.
A string of events jointly hosted by free software groups and programme partners will mark SPACE's Software Freedom Day celebrations this year. The events will be held on September 17, two days before the official worldwide celebrations.
SPACE conducted a three day workshop on Ente Gramam for Akshaya from 5-7 September 2009 at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery. Over 30 Akshaya staff from across the state participated in the workshop which was conducted with the support of Kerala State IT Mission.

SPACE held a session on trouble shooting IT@School Linux for Service Engineers of vendors in Kottayam District on 27 June 2009. Over 100 participants from 70 firms participated.
June 10, 2009: SPACE will train women teacher educators of Kerala University as part of the Department of Education's initiative to support IT enabled teacher education. The training supported by Kerala State IT Mission is a follow up to the National Seminar on IT Enabled Teacher Education and Knowledge Management held last year.
The training will be held at Model Finishing School, Science and Technology Museum campus from June 8 to 16, 2009.
