The second phase training on ICT for the Visually Challenged Master Trainers was conducted at the Insight Centre from August 11-14. SPACE organized a talk on Asterisk - The Software PBX by Mr. Raj Mohan. who has been working on various PBX platforms for the past 6 years and is currently associated with SPACE. The talk was held at the Institute of Engineers hall, Vellayambalam on the 1st of August Asterisk is a Free/Open Source, fully digital implementation of the traditional PBX, with numerous powerful features.

SPACE jointly with Akshaya project of Kerala State IT Mission is organizing a series of events to train local organizations on content building and knowledge archival. The first programme to train the master trainers was held at Malappuram, where the master trainers got hands on training in building websites with content management systems like Wordpress.
